VolkerWessels North America wins a highway maintenance contract with a total value of around C$ 150 million
Amersfoort, the Netherlands, 27 June 2019, VolkerWessels’ subsidiary in Canada, Lakes District Maintenance, was awarded with a ten year contract for highway maintenance in North-western British Columbia (Canada) with a five-year extension option. The total value of the ten year contract is around C$ 150 million and will exceed C$ 225 million with the contract extension.
Service Area 28
The awarded contract concerns highway maintenance work for the Government of British Columbia for Service Area 28. As Lakes District Maintenance was already performing the highway maintenance for Service Area 28 it will continue with the contracted works with immediate effect.
