VolkerStevin achieves award <br> for Swindon & Lee Green project
The Green Organisation has awarded Swindon & Lee Green Reservoir Improvements, a VolkerStevin project, the bronze ‘Green Apple Award' for environmental best practice.
Reservoirs
The Swindon & Lee Green project, which was completed for United Utilities in February this year, focused on improving the overflow and spillway facilities at both reservoirs. This allows probable maximum flows to be safely routed through the reservoirs and passed the existing embankments.
The Green Apple Environmental Awards are an established environmental recognition scheme into its 18th year and recognises positive impacts construction companies such as VolkerStevin are doing.
