VolkerWessels and Rijksmuseum announce partnership

VolkerWessels and the Rijksmuseum announce today that they are entering into a partnership for at least three years. In addition to an annual contribution, VolkerWessels will also be happy to use its expertise to make the museum's accommodation more sustainable, thereby contributing to the preservation and accessibility of the collections.

"Partners are essential in this period. The fact that VolkerWessels commits itself to the Rijksmuseum is fantastic. As with VolkerWessels, we are building the future by preserving art and history for future generations. Sustainability is of paramount importance to both organisations.”

"We consider it an honour to be a partner of the Rijksmuseum and believe it is important to support the cultural sector at this time in particular. In recent years, we have built the Collection Centre Netherlands (CC NL) next to our head office in Amersfoort. This state-of-the-art building preserves the art of four museums, including the Rijksmuseum, in a sustainable and safe manner. In the near future we would like to work with the Rijksmuseum to make its buildings more sustainable.”
