Van de Ven to build new luxury holiday park: Landal Kaatsheuvel

Landal GreenParks is expanding with a new park in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant: Landal Kaatsheuvel. The park, which will comprise 104 holiday homes, will be realised by VolkerWessels company Van de Ven Bouw en Ontwikkeling. Landal Kaatsheuvel will be situated on the edge of the De Loonse en Drunense Duinen national park with its beautiful nature, just a short distance from attractions such as the Efteling amusement park and Beekse Bergen Safari Park. Landal Kaatsheuvel will be the fourth Landal GreenParks holiday park in Noord-Brabant.

Layout of the park

Landal Kaatsheuvel is located around two kilometres from the Efteling entrance, adjacent to the village of Kaatsheuvel. This is where Tilburg-based Van de Ven Bouw en Ontwikkeling B.V. will develop and build a holiday park comprising 104 recreation homes and central facilities. There will be homes to accommodate four, six, eight, 10 and 12 people in the Comfort and Luxury versions, as well as special bungalows suitable for children. Future guests will have access to an indoor swimming pool, reception, ParkShop and play facilities. The homes will be owned by private investors, with Landal GreenParks having responsibility for rentals and for operating the holiday park.

Green Key Gold certificate

Van de Ven Bouw en Ontwikkeling will start selling the recreation homes in mid-September, with the park scheduled to open its doors to the first guests in 2019. Right from the date of opening the park will hold a Green Key Gold certificate for sustainability, thanks to features including separate waste collection, solar panels and LED lighting.
